How should I package my donations?
- Prior to packaging your donations, please ensure the items are reasonably clean or washed.
- Packaging your donations by clothing/item type is preferred.
- Folding your donations neatly helps with preventing wrinkles and will make our clothing racks look professional.
Where do I drop off my donations?
- Donations are welcome at our location on Tuesdays from 2 - 5pm, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 - 1.
- Please bring the donations around the back of our building at 90 N Main Street, Florida, NY.
- When you arrive, find one of our volunteers inside the store to help you unload.
How do I file for Tax Deductions?
- We are a 501(c)3 non profit. Therefore, every donation is tax deductible.
- We have physical forms at our location on 90 N Main Street, Florida, NY.
- Ask for a form when you are dropping off your donation.
How can I make a monetary donation to The Hope Chest?
- Financial donations are happily accepted.
- Monetary donations can be dropped off at the location (90 N Main Street, Florida, NY) during open hours.
- Or you may send monetary donations to P.O. Box 1122 Warwick, NY 10990.
- Checks can be made out to "Shared Ministries of Hope, Inc" or cash.
